With prom fever in the air, every high school girl dreams of enjoying herself at the big event.  And Linda Watson from Fayette High School in Missouri was no exception.  Watson, who has cerebral palsy, has dreamed about going to her prom, but she wasn’t sure that it would actually happen.

And then two Missouri football players, who she idolizes, agreed to be her dates.  Watson’s teacher, Bridget Hussey, arranged to have Missouri receiver T.J. Moe and quarterback Corbin Berkstresser accompany her to the prom.  The boys dressed in khakis and their team jerseys and were greeted by the entire town of Fayette as they took pictures outside of the school. They also sat for the official prom picture and danced a bit during the event.

As Linda Watson’s father said, “It’s just a dream come true; it is. Like I was saying, this is like bringing a kid to like six trips to Disneyland. She is that big of a fan. She just loves them.”
