Limited space can exacerbate Cerebral Palsy

Posted by on 27th Nov,2007 in Category News ~ Comments Off

Cramped quarters can exacerbate problems related to cerebral policy. Without adequate room sufferers of Cerebral Palsy may not be able to use special seats designed to help them eat at a regular table.

A special “gripper“ plate is designed to be attached to a bigger table. Wheel chair mobility can be severely limited which studies have shown have caused both physical and mental anguish to a Cerebral Palsy sufferer.

This lack of space has other negative manifestations as the required space needed for exercise is paramount in the treatment of the disease. It can be surmised that low income families with small apartments suffer much more than their rich counterparts.

If lack of space is acute laws have been enacted to ensure minimalistic maneuvering room for a Cerebral Palsy patient.
